InterContinental Paris Le Grand Hotel

Built at the time of Haussmann’s great renovation of Paris, Le Grand Hotel is the epitome of Parisian opulence and luxury.

Designed in the style synonymous with so much of Paris’ 1860s architecture, construction of the 5* hotel marked a period of transformation in the French capital, where overcrowded medieval neighbourhoods were converted into a network of leafy avenues and open public squares.

Renovating 170 years of history

During the hotel’s most recent refurbishment, we drew down on our extensive experience in heritage renovation to sensitively restore external facades and public spaces. Bedrooms and diplomatic suites are being reconfigured to create more spacious accommodation, alongside a full fit-out to all rooms.

Refurbishment works have been project managed to avoid adverse impact on hotel guests and visitors to the infamous Café de la Paix, situated on the ground floor of the hotel.
