Over the course of the three year programme PwC intends to further develop a best-in-class commercial space offering, with each of the proposed schemes delivering demonstrable improvements over the previous office provision. In its role as project manager and quantity surveyor, Gleeds will be instrumental in achieving this objective.

The first projects to be carried out for the professional services giant under the new agreement include the relocation of the company’s Cambridge operation to a new premises at St John’s Innovation Park. Once complete, all staff in the city will be moved from their existing space at Castle Park to the new 12,195sq ft base in the Maurice Wilkes Building.

These works are to be undertaken in tandem with an 11,800sq ft expansion of PwC’s Central Square office in Leeds.  The extension will take its total occupancy at the site to over 60,000 sq ft and will allow the firm to bring together some of its operations across Yorkshire and the North East, in line with its long-term plan to grow the business’ overall footprint outside of London.

As a result, we have successfully delivered high profile schemes in Manchester and Leeds, with Birmingham currently underway, and are looking forward to seeing work begin on site under this new agreement later this year.”
