Kennesaw State University Prillaman Hall
Our knowledge helped to educate more nurses.
The initial space constraints meant that only 1 in 9 qualified applicants to this School of Nursing was accepted to the programme. Gleeds provided project management for the construction of a new, state-of-the-art facility that was awarded LEED® Gold Certification, enabling 250 much-needed nurses to graduate each year.
A healthier future
Prillaman Hall houses the WellStar School of Nursing, the Department of Social Health, Physical Education and Sport Science Department – and produces some of the state’s top nurses. It’s only fitting that the building helps care for the environment. Sustainable features include:
- Motion-detection lighting
- Recycled wood and locally produced bricks used in construction
- Low-flow toilets
An environment built for learning
