Kontorhaus Office Building
Following the successful delivery of Kontorhaus Phase 1 we seemlesly put Phase 2 into action.
Kontorhaus 2 is not only an extension of the existing office building and underground car park, but also a new build 3,000m2 hotel with integrated apartments.
Phase 1 was completed under budget and within programme and phase 2, which is expected to be completed Q3 of 2017 is set to do the same.
Overcoming a challenging foundation
There were many challenges on this project- one of the most demanding being the foundations. The site had been cleansed of pollution which dated back decades - a process that our experts in Germany managed over several years.
There were many and exacting procedures to be adhered to in the sinking of the pile foundation due to groundwater requirements and being immediately adjacent to the local river Oker. Our commercial experts in Germany monitored these procedures as well as assuming the role of project and cost management for the project.
