Comprehensive health and safety advice
Services include:
- CDM (Construction Design and Management) Advisor, to assist and advise clients and principal designers in complying with their duties under CDM 2015 and other relevant health and safety legislation
- Checking that designers and contractors have the necessary skills, knowledge, experience and organizational capability to manage health and safety risks
- Making sure that the principal designer and principal contractor are complying with their duties
- Ensuring that the principal contractor has prepared a suitable construction phase plan before the work starts
- Site safety inspections, to check the principal contractor is complying with their duties under CDM 2015
- Preparation of health and safety files and building manuals for construction projects
- Safety policies and procedures, to enable employers to comply with their duties under the Health & Safety at Work Act and other relevant health and safety legislation
- OHSAS 18001, development and implementation of health and safety management systems
- ISO 14001, development and implementation of environmental management systems
- Risk assessments, identification and assessment of workplace hazards and implementation of suitable control measures
- Fire risk assessments and identification, to enable employers to comply with their duties under the Fire Safety Order
- Health and safety audits, to determine the level of compliance with existing management systems and ensure current legal duties are met
- Workstation assessments, to enable employers to comply with their duties under the Display Screen Equipment Regulations, web based assessment systems and procedures
- COSHH (control of substances hazardous to health) assessments, identification and assessment of hazardous substances and implementation of suitable control measures
- Health and safety training, customized training on relevant health and safety issues
- Accident investigation, preparation of reports, expert witness statements
