Midlands developer Opus Land appoints Gleeds to project manage growing property portfolio

In light of continuing growth preeminent development and investment business, Opus Land, has enhanced its construction function by appointing property and construction consultants, Gleeds, to oversee its growing property portfolio.

The appointment comes as Opus acquires new premises in Henley-in-Arden and welcomes two new members into the team, both of whom will play an integral role in the acquisition of new development sites.

In 2015 the Midlands-based property company acquired standing investments of £23 million and received profits from developments and planning promotions with a GDV totaling over £70 million. Already this year, Opus has obtained planning permission for a new 100,000sq.ft. industrial scheme in Cannock which is set to commence on site in Q2 2016.

The move provides Opus Land with a single source of dedicated construction advice, from consultants who understand the intricacies of the developer market, as well as the construction process. Gleeds will provide services ranging from development feasibility assessments to construction project and cost management.
